iPad Media

Our iPad Media sessions are a great way to engage young people in a variety of creative, enterprising and tactical projects. We provide the iPads so it's a cost effective way of allowing your students to experience Apple's latest technology and make learning relevant.

iFilm

Age: 8yrs+ | Group size: 10-30
Requirement: Classroom | After school club: No
The iPad offers not only an HD video camera but also editing capabilities. Students are able to create movie projects whilst learning various editing and camera techniques.
Plan - Participants will begin by creating a story board of their projects. Whether it be a music video or short film, students will not only shoot their own video but also star in it, boosting confidence and again strengthening peer relationships.
Edit - Using iMovie, students will edit their project, putting various shots together to ensure an interesting and professional video before adding special effects.

iJam

Age: 7yrs+ | Group size: 10-30
Requirement: Classroom | After school club: No
Using Garage Band for iPad, the students will create an original piece of music. Our expert music coaches will guide the participants through the process: instructing them on how to play virtual instruments, build beats and structure songs. Students will then move on to sampling their voice and mixing to finish off their track. iJam is an engaging musical experience that teaches core music techniques for the future and can boost self confidence in its participants.

iPhotography

Age: 7yrs+ | Group size: 10-30
Requirement: Classroom | After school club: No
Here the group use the iPad to take photos and then use applications such as Photoshop to manipulate them and create a digital media project.
Shoot - Students will start by picking a theme for their photo shoot, thinking about locations and lighting to achieve the best picture.
Edit - Using Photoshop, students will then learn how to further improve their picture by adding special effects, applying different colouring and tints and 'touching up' any imperfections perhaps not noticed during the shoot.

Enterprising, tactical and practical projects.
