Terms & Conditions: By choosing to work with us you accept our terms and conditions, these supersede any policies you may have, if you do not accept this you have 7days from the date of the order confirmation being issued to cancel at no charge.
Payment Upon receiving the invoice payment must be received within 30days. Please make all cheques payable to Sound Education. The invoice will be issued on the 1st day (or day nearest to) of the month that your first session is in.
Cancellations If a workshop(s) is cancelled by you more than 15 weeks prior to the date of the workshop 25% of the session price is charged as a cancellation fee. If a workshop(s) is cancelled by you 15 weeks to 6 weeks prior to the workshop date 50% of the session price is charged as a cancellation fee. If a workshop(s) is cancelled by you less than 6 weeks prior to the workshop date 100% of the session price is charged as a cancellation fee. No cancellation fees apply to dates cancelled within 7days of the date of the order confirmation letter as long as the booking date is more than 10day in the future. CANCELLATIONS FEES MAY NOT APPLY TO REARRANGED DATES, IF THEY ARE REARRANGED 6WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE START DATE - HOWEVER THIS IS LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF OUR MANAGEMENT. Please note our charges also stand if you cancel a session at short notice due to poor weather, however if we cancel the session because of this we will refund you Our charges also stand if you cancel due to OFSTED or incidents relating to the school building such as burst pipes or no heating.
Participant Numbers We are not responsible if the number of participants are less than anticipated by your organisation, our fees remain the same If you cancel in advance due to poor numbers then cancellation charges of up to 100% may apply.
Software All software that is not purchased must be uninstalled from your machines immediately after the music production workshops have finished, we will not be held responsible if you infringe licensing agreements. Whilst the workshops are in progress we transfer the rights under the license provided by the software company to you by transferring the ownership of the original software, backup and license to you. Ownership of the software is then transferred back to us once the sessions complete
Damage & Breakage Deliberate and accidental damage of our equipment during and immediately before or after a session by any members of your staff or young people who are attending your school or youth group will be charge for. This will be to the value as shown on the original purchase invoice, payment for any damaged equipment must be received within 7days of the incident.
Liability Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of your equipment, buildings, staff and young people under your control we will not accept any responsibility, financial or other, to damage or harm caused within the sessions.
Parking Our staff will arrive approximately 15mins before the session is due to start, they must have free parking within the grounds or within 20m of the entrance. If this is not available this may delay the start time and will be deemed as the customer delaying the session beginning. If the parking arrangement is not obvious then we are to be contacted at least 48hours in advance via email to describe them to us.
Holiday Clubs Unless it states on the order confirmation that we are providing lunch time supervision and are registering the participants we will not be providing this service. These services are available for an additional fee and should be purchased when making the booking to ensure they are available. Please note when participants are leaving the sessions a member of your staff should be available in case parents are late collecting the children, if this is not available and we are required to stay behind we will charge you (the customer) £5 for every 5mins we are required to wait.
CRBs and ID All Junior Jam staff have Enhanced CRB certificates which are renewed every 3 years. You can view the top section each member of staff’s CRB on our website with a photo of them. Junior Jam hold one CRB for each member of staff and do not have multiple CRBs for each different LEA – this is not an OFSTED requirement. If a member of staff is turned away because you have your own policy on CRBs the full price of the session will be charged and our cancellation policy will be applied if applicable
