TESTIMONIALS

Alice Ingham Primary School

We have worked with Junior Jam for 3 Years and they deliver our computing, MFL and music curriculum. Junior Jam are great to work alongside, offer amazing services and a great curriculum. The children benefit from having specialist areas of our curriculum taught by specialist teachers. In addition to that the children are able to use a variety of equipment/instruments etc which are provided as part of the curriculum delivery.

The Junior Jam portal allows teachers and subject leaders to see what is being taught in their class/subject. We are able to download very good knowledge organisers and we use it for checking on the progress of our children in the various subjects.

For many years – since the very first flyer was distributed to schools. We took up the offer of the DJ club, and we have not looked back. It is great to see the growth of the company. Well done to the team. We find Junior Jam extremely reliable, and easy to work with. The administration process is efficient and effective. Responses to queries are swift.

We are particularly pleased with the attitude of Junior Jam staff towards the children. This is reciprocated by the children who absolutely love the holiday clubs, asking months in advance if Junior Jam is taking place during the summer holidays.

The children have experiences they enjoy. Staff are confident that Junior Jam staff are professional and that they deliver. It benefits staff because we can trust that activities will run smoothly, and that the children will benefit, we also find that the school portal is also accessible.

We have worked with Junior Jam since April 2021. The first-year term we had a French Teacher for cover only. We felt the teaching and curriculum offered was very good, so we then increased the provision to PPA cover level to include reporting and assessment. Junior Jam has been very reliable. Communication is good with correspondence and queries responded to quickly. Notice of staff absence is always given and a replacement offered. The teachers are flexible and are happy to follow school procedures and policies.

When we began working with Junior Jam, French was a huge area of concern particularly in light of the Covid pandemic school closures. The majority of our pupils are EAL so very little, if any English is spoken at home. French was not continued at home and so pupils regressed massively. Junior Jam listened to our concerns and suggestions and supported us by adapting their own curriculum to match the needs of our pupils. We started all year groups from the same starting point; fast tracking Year 5 and 6 with an additional weekly lesson. By September 2023, after a year and one term, all pupils are now at age related expectations for French having caught up.

2023 will be the second year we have worked with Junior Jam and we use the Computing sessions.

The service communicates well and is reliable with what it offers. Communication is good and any issues/confusions/changes have been our fault! Junior Jam Staff quality is excellent and have formed good relationships with the school.

The School now has high quality computing sessions that are well resourced, varied and engaging for pupils. Staff have benefited from learning new skills and being able to have time to support key pupils.

We have been working with Junior Jam for almost one year (Jan ‘23 we began our journey). They are very reliable, there has only been one staff absence in the time we have been working together and a substitute was sent.

Communication is great, emails are answered promptly and professionally. Calls are answered and nothing is ever too much trouble; JJ are happy to take on board feedback from our subject leaders following any monitoring. The tutors that teach our pupils are professional, knowledgeable and have high expectations.

We began our JJ journey when we needed to 'employ' a new member of staff to cover PPA, we took this as an opportunity to try something new and exciting. Junior Jam provide high quality teaching and learning experiences in three subjects (that often class teachers aren't as confident with) across our school - the children love these lessons! Teachers and school leaders feel confident that their pupils are receiving high quality provision.

We also use the portal to access planning and assessment documents.

We have worked with Junior Jam Since September 2022 and we consider them to be a very reliable company to work with.We use Junior Jam to cover our PPA timetable, they provide our school with fun, enjoyable lessons that are based around music. Our pupils are engaged in their lessons and look forward to the musical creativity that they learn each week.

We also frequently use the school portal, which is great to access and is definitely user friendly. Having the SCR information to hand is helpful!

We have been working with Junior Jam for the past three years now; they have been providing PPA cover. Initially, we started with just Music cover but now we have both Music and MFL cover. From the day I got in contact with the company, I have been incredibly impressed by not only the professionalism of every member of staff but also the high level of skill that is offered during our sessions. Our children particularly enjoy the Music sessions and the highly interactive elements of the sessions. The children's knowledge and skills have been dramatically impacted by having such skilled practitioners delivering the sessions. The school portal is also a great tool, which allows Subject leads and class teachers to track the progress of the children and has been invaluable, when writing reports.

We began working with Junior Jam last academic year and have been very impressed with the lessons, which are fun and engaging for our pupils. It has enabled them to be exposed to new and exciting music opportunities and a variety of instruments which have created a curiosity and buzz around music.

Murray, our instructor, delivers lessons for years 1-6 and we have access to the plans and assessments via the online portal. The portal is easy to use and is great in helping me as music lead to still keep an overview of what is delivered to our children. Junior Jam are extremely reliable and are easy to contact and work alongside providing a stress-free partnership.

The children are engaged in lessons, but Junior Jam have also helped upskill our staff by giving them access to observing high quality music teaching.

Junior Jam has been covering PPA in our school for the last six years. They teach part of our Computing (iMedia) and Spanish Curriculum. Recently we have had a successful OFSTED inspection where both computing and MFL were good. Our Junior Jam instructors are highly professional and well trained. Our children enjoy both Spanish and Computing sessions. The Computing has been an invaluable CPD experience for our staff.

Junior Jam has been a very reliable company, providing quality service for the last six years. Their portal enables us to have access to all the up-to-date information regarding curriculum, staff DBS checks and timetables.

As a head teacher I am safe in the knowledge that our children receive good quality teaching in both Spanish and Computing.
