Summer Holiday Club Week 4

We are now well in to week for of our holiday clubs that target those who are at risk of going hungry during the school holidays.

Overall, Thornton in Bradford is not one of the most deprived areas, so often the community is overlooked for funding even though there are still some families that still struggle in the area. This week has been a great opportunity for children of families who do find making ends meet difficult to take part in sports, music and filmmaking activities and so far it has been very well received. 

We have seen young people come out of their shell and express their creative side, and others with great sporting ability being able to showcase that in a safe and encouraging environment.
