A Whistle-Stop Tour of London
Andrew's visit to London:
I set off bright and early at 8am on Monday for a trip to London, heading straight to Nightingale Primary School. There, I met up with our London manager and several members of our fantastic team for a catchup and check-in. After a busy day, I treated myself to an evening at the Adelphi Theatre to see Back to the Future: The Musical. It was a brilliant show and a great way to end the day.
Tuesday started with the familiar rumble of trains outside my window (I was staying right next to Tower Gateway Underground Station). From there, I drove to Thomas Buxton Primary School in the morning and Millfields Primary in the afternoon, once again meeting our staff and touching base.
That evening, I headed to Brent Cross to check in at my hotel, before catching a bus to Wembley Stadium for a bite to eat.
On Wednesday morning, I visited Preston Park Primary to meet one of our newest staff members. It was great to connect face-to-face and offer support as they settle in. By early afternoon, I was back on the road, heading north to Leeds after a productive and rewarding few days in London.
