Easter Holiday Clubs 2020

Easter is almost upon us and we cannot quite believe how fast 2020 is going so far. As much as we are looking forward to eating our own weight in chocolate, in between the feasting we are once again running several holiday clubs during the Easter break.

From 6th April until 8Th April we will be at St Giles CofE Primary School in Sheffield running a three-day ‘School of Hip-Hop’ club. This will involve the young people taking part in workshops where they will learn DJ Skills and Music Production using Apple iPads, as well as Street Dance and Break Dance.

We are also running another ‘School of Hip-Hop’ club at Coleridge Primay School in Rotherham over two days on 6th and 7th April.

We will be at Chaddesden Park Primary School in Derby for three days from 6th April delivering an Animation club where there will be multi sports activities running alongside them. Using iPads, children will learn how to create and edit their own short animated sequences adding sound effects, music and transitions.

From 6th April until 8th April at both Brimington Junior School in Chesterfield and Rawmarsh Monkwood Primary School in Rotherham we are running a CSI holiday club. Students will all have a part to play in solving a case, where they will conduct forensic and detective training before analysing a crime scene. When students enter the crime scene, they dust for fingerprints and take blood samples, then conduct interrogations and interviews to determine the culprit.

All of these clubs were booked by John Bell who is the Extended Services Manager for The Learners Trust. His job is to source extra funding for schools and then manage the funded projects on their behalf, with the aim of creating new enriching educational experiences for children and the wider community.

We run holiday clubs in West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, so if you are considering a holiday club in your school then please get in touch. We run clubs for between 35 and 60 children, offering different levels of service depending on your requirements. We can provide an online booking system, support staff and registration if need be. Clubs can focus on themes such as CSI, International Week, Broadway or The Olympics.

For more information about how Junior Jam can deliver holiday clubs for your school please feel free to give our office a call or send us an email.
